Ombre colour this season

Ombre ~ Dip Dyed ~ Rainbow Brights
The hair world borrowed the term ‘Ombre’ from the french word meaning shading. Ombre hair color is generally darker at the roots through the mid-shaft and then gradually gets lighter from the mid-shaft to the ends.

For those of you that have been following Kimage Newsletter “Fringe”, you probably can remember that Ombre Colour trend was introduced in January 2012. Since then, Ombre has gone global and it is now the biggest colour trend in the hair fashion scene.

Ombre has gained new heights with the light ends taking on shades of funky colours. For the bold and adventurous, the light ends can be coloured a multiplex of shades for that rainbow dip dyed hair!

CDAC – Back To School

Kimage students participated in CDAC “Back to School” project to help needy students get ready for the new school year. A team of 11 students led by 2 teachers cut hair for 200 needy students on 2 December 2012.

Starring in the Mane Event

She gets a sense of satisfaction when one of her customers get a new look. And that was what got Miss Low Whooi Whooi, 24, hooked on hairdressing. Ms Low, a Malaysian, graduated from Kimage School of Hairdressing in May last year with an International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing.

SP Treatments

Jade is an ornamental stone and the term jade is applied to 2 different metamorphic rocks consisting of different silicate minerals.

SP Treatments are inspired by the intriguing microcrystalline interlocking matrix in Jade. SP Treatments include the SP ColorLock Alchemy Service & the SP Permlock Service enabling the combination of the Color/ Perm Save Emulsion and a prescribed Infusion. This new SP ColorLock treatment service helps to prolong colour tone and protect hair colour from fading whilst sealing the colour creation of the stylist. Whilst the SP Permlock treatment service enables perms to last longer and stay bouncy. The new SP ColorLock / PermLock services are customized to individual hair needs by the choice of infusions used.

Free Ombré Hair Colour by Kimage

2 female models needed for demonstration on 17th December 2012 at Kimage.

If you have long hair (not too much layers), do join us as Ombré Hair Colour model. If you have short hair (above shoulder) with a fringe, you can join us as rainbow dip dye model.

Both models have to report to Kimage Head Office at #05-01 Funan Digitalife Mall at 9.30am.
